Small amount of Luster Sheen: White Pearl (white with silver threads) or you can substitute white sports yarn for the Luster Sheen.
Small amount black embroidery thread for mouth.
Elmers Glue to stiffen antenna.
Polyester fiber fill for stuffing bee

HEAD
With Yellow: Ch 2.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sts)
Rnd 2: (2 Sc in each st) around. (12 sts)
Rnd 3-4: Sc in each st . (12 sts)
Rnd 5: (3 sc in next st) twice. Note: Mark these increases as the nose. Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in last st. (18 sts)
Rnd 6: Sc in each st (18 sts)
Rnd 7: (Sc dec over next 2 sts) 3 times, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next st , sc in each of last 2 sts. (17 sts)

BODY

Rnd 10: sc in each st changing to black on the last st. (18 sts)

Rnd 12: With Yellow, Ch 1, sc in first sc and in each st ending with a sl st in first sc (20 sts)
Rnd 13: Ch 1, Sc in each st ending with a sl st in first sc. Change to black on last sl st. (20 sts)
Rnd 14: With Black, repeat row 13 changing to yellow in last sl st.
Rnd 15: With Yellow, Ch 1, sc dec over next 2 sts, sc in next 8 sts., sc dec over next 2 sts . , sc in remaining sts. Sl st in first sc (18 sts)

Stuff body firmly. Finish off black.
Rnd 18: With Yellow, Ch 1, (sc dec over next 2 sts) around ending sc in last st. Sl St in first st (8 sts)
Rnd 19: Ch 1, (sc dec over next 2 sts) three times leaving rest of sts unworked. Cut Yellow leaving a long tail, finish stuffing, sew up bottom and weave unused yellow yarn inside the body.
LEGS (Make 2)
Leaving a long tail of yellow(to sew legs on body) , with Yellow: Ch 5 loosely. Sl st in first ch.
Rnd 1: ch 1, Sc in ea ch. (5 sts)
Rnd 2-7: Sc in ea st. (5 sts)
Rnd 8: 2 dc in each of next 2 sts. Sc in next, 2sc in next st, sc in last st., changing to Black in last st(8 sts). Finish off yellow.
For shoes, with Black
Rnd 9: Working in back loops, dc in next st, 2 dc in each of next 2 sts, dc in next st. Sc in each of the remaining sts. (10 sts). Stuff leg and shoe putting extra stuffing in top of leg.
Rnd 10: Working in back loops,(sc dec over next 2 sts) around. (5 sts).
Leaving a long tail, cut black, finish stuffing and sew up hole in bottom of shoe.
Sew legs to bottom of body.
ARMS (Make 2)
With Yellow: Leaving a long tail for sewing arms to body, Ch 6.
Rnd 1: Join to first ch. Ch 1, sc in ea ch. (6 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in first st, sc in ea remaining st. (7 sts)
Rnd 3: (sc dec over next 2 sts)3 times, ending with a sc in last st. (4 sts)
Stuff arm and sew opening closed on Rnd 3.
Sew arms to each side of body over Rounds 10-12 of body.
WINGS (Make 2)
Work in Rows . Ch 1, turn at end of each row.
With Luster Sheen: Ch 6.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch. (5 sts)
Row 2: 2sc in first st., sc in each st making 2 sc in last st. (7 sts)
Row 3-4: Sc in each st (7 sts)
Row 5-6: Sc dec over first 2 sts., sc in each st making sc dec over last 2 sts. (5 sts) (3 sts) Fasten off .
Place wings side by side on back of bee and sew Row 1 of wings to back of bee.
ANTENNA
Cut 2 strands of black yarn about 10" long. Tie a double knot at the end of both pieces. Dip both knotted ends (about the first inch) in a mixture of Elmers glue with a few drops of water. Let dry completely. Thread the non stiffened end of the antenna and draw through round 2 on both sides of head and pull out the back. Knot the 2 ends on the outside and then weave back through the inside of the body to hide the ends.
