منذ أكثر من عام كان الشاب محمد السبيعى ذو الــ 30 ربيعا ينعم بالصحة والعافية, ولم يكن يعرف أن القدر يخبئ له مأساة يعجز المرء عن وصفها...لم يكن يتصور, وهو اليوم طريح الفراش في حالة غيبوبة تامة, أنه سيعاني الأمرين في وطنه...نعم هكذا هو واقع الشاب" محمد السبيعى" وضعه اليوم مؤلم ومأساوي لا وكيل له سوى الخالق أما أهل الصحة ممن يهمهم الأمر ففي غياب تام عما يعانيه...


نكتب اليوم عن أشدّ حالات المعاناة التي قابلناها منذ سنوات...حالة لا يمكن استيعاب تفاصيلها حين نختزل مأساة الشاب السبيعي المصاب بسبب حادث مروري, في ما قاله شقيقه ناصر السبيعى لــ (كل الوطن): "ذهبت بشقيقي للصين بحثاً عن سرير وليس عن علاج"...‎



مأساة بدايتها حادث مرور ومحطاتها معاناة وإهمال وسفر ومصاريف تفقر الجيوب وغربة في الوطن...أسئلة كثيرة حرّكت في داخلنا رغبة جامحة في معرفة أسباب هذا "الاحتياطي" من اللامبالاة التي صارت "دستورا" لبعض المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية وللمسؤولين القائمين عليها...


في هذا الملف الساخن الذى تفتحه (كل الوطن) نكشف عن حجم المأساة التي يعيشها الشاب محمد السبيعى منذ أكثر من سنة ومدى برودة التفاعل الذي لقيه من عدد من المستشفيات والمسؤولين...كما ننقل تفاصيل المعاناة التي لم تجد إلى حد كتابة هذه الأسطر من يخفف من وطأتها على ابن وطننا المملكة محمد السبيعى.


بدأت مأساة الشاب "محمد السبيعى", مثلما يذكر شقيقه ناصر السبيعى لـ (كل الوطن) منذ تعرضه لحادث مروري يوم في 22 مارس 2007 أنزله ضيفا على السرير الأبيض مصابا بغيبوبة تامة. كان ذلك بمدينة الخفجي حيث دخل المصاب في غيبوبة مستمرة نتيجة تهدم في خلايا المخ العصبية وكسر باليد اليمنى...وتنطلق رحلة معاناة محمد السبيعى الذي نقل الى مستشفى الخفجي العام.

يقول شقيقه ناصر السبيعى: "مأساة شقيقي بدأت من هذا المستشفى فقد تقاعس عن تقديم واجبه بترك أخي المصاب وعدم الاهتمام به كما هو مطلوب لحالة خاصة تستوجب سرعة إنجاز إجراءات تحويله. وبدأت الصدمة الأولى بانسحاب المدير المناوب من عمله وتركي لأراسل المستشفيات الأخرى من فاكس مكتبه, مستجديا منهم إشعار مستشفى الخفجي بقبوله لتتم الموافقة لسيارة الإسعاف لنقله وبعد انتظار طويل تم الرد من بعض المستشفيات الحكومية بالمنطقة الشرقية ورفضت استقباله بحجة عدم وجود أسرة شاغرة في العناية المركزة وبمجهود شخصي تم قبوله في مجمع الملك فهد الطبي العسكري بالظهران وبقي سبعة أشهر وطلبوا إخراجه بعد أن قضى هذه الفترة لأنه ليس عسكرياً وأنه يشغل سريرا غيره أولى به وتمت كتابة تقرير طبي من قبل الدكتور المعالج بأنه حالياً لا يحتاج سوى إعادة تأهيل كامل فقط وأن حالته



في تحسن مستمر وينصح بتحويله لمدينة سلطان للخدمات الإنسانية لإعادة تأهيله هناك وتمت مراسلة المستشفيات الأخرى وتم رفض استقبال المريض وعرضنا تقاريره على جميع المستشفيات التي يوجد بها تأهيل طبي فرفضوا قبوله بحجة أنه ما زال في غيبوبة وحالته مزمنة وتجب متابعته سريرياً وتحت إشراف أطباء للمخ والأعصاب".


وبنبرة حزينة يستطرد شقيق المصاب ناصر السبيعى قائلا: "بطول مأساتي وبعرض الألم وبحجم الحزن الذي يغشاك حين ترى أحب الناس إليك مصاباً وفي غيبوبة تامة ويحتاج إلى توفير سرير تتوافر به الإمكانيات التي يحتاج إليها، فتبخل به وزارة أنيط بها الاهتمام بالإنسان، لقد أُصبتُ بالإحباط حين رفض جميع المستشفيات استقبال حالة أخي المصاب!

لقد اضطررت إلى السفر به إلى الصين عن طريق إحدى الشركات بدولة الكويت حيث بقينا هناك 3 شهور أجرى خلالها شقيقي عملية زراعة جذعية لخلايا المخ. وخلال فترة العلاج تعرضنا للنصب والاستغلال من صاحب المكتب حيث بدأ بمساومتنا وطلب زيادة الرسوم فوق المتفق عليها وقد أعيتني المصاريف، ونفدت إمكانياتي عن إكمال علاج أخي وهذا ما دعاني إلى التوجه إلى السفارة السعودية ببكين حيث تقدمت بالتماس إلى خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز الذي أصدر قرارا بعلاج أخي على نفقه الدولة بتاريخ 11/11، لكن هذا القرار, صدر من وزارة الصحة إلى السفارة السعودية ببكين بتاريخ 21/11."


وأضاف ناصر السبيعي قائلا: "لم نتلق أي إشعار من السفارة بوجود أمر


ملكي باستكمال العلاج على نفقة المملكة، مما اضطرنا للرجوع إلى السعودية بتاريخ 28/12 أي بعد صدور الأمر الملكي بشهر ونصف
!بعد أن طلبت من السفارة السعودية توفير طائرة إخلاء طبي للعودة، وهنا جاء القبول مشروطاً بتزويدهم بما يفيد قبول أحد المستشفيات للمريض! حقيقة لا أدري الى اليوم لماذا تركتني السفارة السعودية أواجه وأنا وشقيقي محنتنا لوحدنا.


توجهتُ بطلب للأمير سلمان بن عبد العزيز الذي لم يتوانَ كعادته بإصدار اعتماد دخوله لمستشفى النقاهة، ودخل أخي ومرت الأيام من دون متابعة لحالته بالشكل الذي يحتاج إليه، وبقيت محاصراً بين "مطرقة" موت الخلايا المزروعة لأخي "وسندان" روتين "الصحة"، إلى أن امتدت إليه اليد البيضاء لولي العهد الأمير


سلطان بن عبد العزيز لنقله من مستشفى النقاهة وعلاجه بالمستشفى السعودي الألماني. وفي هذه الأثناء صدر الأمر السامي الكريم من ملك الإنسانية باعتماد معالجة أخي في أميركا، ولكن شتان بين تقرير طبيبه المعالج في المستشفى السعودي الألماني وبين ما أرسلت به وزارة الصحة لمركز إعادة التأهيل، إن لها طرقاً عجيبة كي لا يتم الأمر! بالتأكيد لا يمكن للمستشفيات الأميركية إعادة تأهيل الحالة لأن المريض لم يصل إلى هذه المرحلة، فهو ما زال في طور العلاج وفي حال غير مدرك وعاجز كلياً!


أشير هنا إلى انه في قمة أزمتي وانقطاع السبل بنا في الصين، صدر أمر ملك الإنسانية الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز بتقديم المساعدة المادية لعلاج أخي في الصين، ويعززه خطاب من وزير الخارجية الأمير سعود الفيصل، ويخفى عني هذا الأمر السامي وهذه المكرمة الملكية ولا تُنفذ!والسؤال من أخفى هذه المكرمة؟

ولم يكن القرار الملكي بتقديم المساعدة المادية لعلاج أخي الأول والأخير بل صاحبه قرار ثان يقضي بعلاج شقيقي بالولايات المتحدة، لكن وزارة الصحة عطلت تنفيذ القرار بطريقة غريبة، إذ أنها وبدلا من مخاطبة مركز علاجمتخصص لمتابعة حالة شقيقي، طلبت من أحد مراكز النقاهة الأمريكية استقبال المريض لإكمال فترة



نقاهته، وهو ما رفضه المركز.ولعل هذا ما يوحي بسرّ غامض حرم شقيقي المصاب من قراري خادم الحرمين بعلاجه على نفقة الدولة. نعم لقد حرمت الجهات المسؤولة عن التنفيذ شقيقي من هذا الحق، و تركته يعاني آلام محنته، غير مكترثة بما أصابه من أضرار."

ويذكر ناصر السبيعي انه اكتشف مؤخرا من شخص يعمل بالوزارة قصة الأمرين الملكيين اللذين صدرا بحق شقيقه ولم ينفذا والجهات التي عطلت سير الإجراءات موثقة بجميع الأوراق الرسمية التي حصل عليها من ذات الشخص.

وعن الوضع العائلي للمصاب "محمد السبيعى", يقول شقيقه الناصر لــ (كل الوطن): الوالدة متوفية الله يرحمها و أبي متأثر جداً لحالة ابنه وكل كلماته "ربي يشفيه ويحن قلوبهم عليه ويا الله في هذا الشهر الكريم أن تصل معاناة ابني لخادم الحرمين وولي عهده ليقدموا له مد العون ومحاسبة من قصر بحقه إن وجد فأملي بالله كبير ثم بعطفهم"

Mohammed Salhan AL-SUBAIE, aged 31

Thank you for asking me to comment on this patient's medical report of 9.3.08. I gather that he sustained a very severe head injury on 22.3.07 in a road traffic accident, as well as a fractured right humerus. He required intensive care and ventilation for a month until he became self-ventilating, and has undergone a variety of rehabilitative and other treatments since then, including a left hemisphere stem-cell implant in China on 30.10.07 and 30 two-hour sessions of hyperbaric oxygen.

At the time the report was written he continued to need a tracheostomy and nasogastric-tube feeding, and remained doubly incontinent, with a spastic quadriparesis. He was able to voluntarily move the left hand and fingers and left hip and knee, track visually, move his lips and tongue, and his eyebrows, particularly the left, on request, and was able to follow yes/no requests.

Any further treatment should be directed toward increasing his ability to communicate with his family and carers by using his ability to respond to yes/no commands, and exploring his ability to make choices, for example between picture representations of his possible needs, to enable him to confirm a carer or family member his particular need at any

time. In addition it may be possible to wean and decannulate the tracheostomy, substitute the nasogastric tube with a gastrostomy, explore his ability to safely swallow food and fluid, and investigate whether further management of his spasticity would be helpful to his handling and wheelchair mobility. At present, there are no ongoing clinical trials of stem-cell transplantation for patients after severe brain injury in either Europe or North America, and it is unlikely that these trials will start in the immediate future for such patients, although the matter is being explored for patients after spinal injury. Stem-cell transplants offered on an ad hoc basis in other parts of the world are not controlled and have thus resulted in no evidence of any beneficial effects.

It is likely that his care needs could be lessened with further intensive inpatient rehabilitation, addressing goals in the areas detailed above, in a programme such as that available at the Wellington Hospital, and should he come to London I would be pleased to co-ordinate his overall care and management.
